The new Lonny magazine was waiting for me in my inbox this morning, which was perfect because I got up early just so I’d have some time to enjoy catching up on reading my design blogs over a cup of coffee. Do you know where the wall art in the first photo is from? By the way, any ideas for those of us who are living in a world of off-white because of landlords (landlady in my case) who don't want their walls painted? -LM
Hi Lauren! Unfortunately I have no idea where the artwork is from. If you look through the link to the Lonny mag, there may be a resources section in back, and if you're lucky it will list it. Otherwise, take a look at etsy for some relatively inexpensive prints that are going to be original and fun. Etsy is a great way to start your own unique collect (Eastern Market is too!). Also, take a look at this site for free downloadable art: http://indiefixx.com/Feed_your_soul/downloads.html. I think art really is the best way to dress up your walls if you're in a rental.
