We did something like this in our basement. Not sure if you remember what it looks like, but it was basically a long wall that I had no clue what to do with. Some kids paper & painters tape, gave us our "family" wall. Doing a grouping of frames really does break up the space. Now I just don't know what to do on the other half of the wall!

I've actually got a nifty tool that I found at Home Depot a few years back, but haven't seen it available anywhere since. Janet – that arrangement is my favorite too. I expect the final product will be very similar, though modified to fit the frames I already own.
